With more than 20 years of experience providing a trusted marketing platform, the industry leader CamPaigntrack and Realhub merge to lead the way in Real Estate Technology. Realbase was considering standardising their infrastructure in AWS, Azure and Equinix and required a secure and well-architected environment that would enable them to spin up new environments quickly and seamlessly, ensuring that they could be managed at all scales. Realbase engaged Ikigai to understand the risks and benefits of rearchitecting to build a brand new well-architected solution that would meet their needs
The Solution
Strong Foundations provided a strong base to take Realbase forward
Ikigai worked with Realbase to conduct a Cloud Readiness Assessment. The assessment identified key requirements, providing a roadmap and cloud strategy that would migrate their existing services to new infrastructure. Deploying Ikigai’s Cloud Foundations solution grows and expand their offering and business. By leveraging, deploying Kubernetes into multi-cloud to avoid a single chance of infrastructure failure and express route to integrate with their existing services in Equinix, CICD to production with Zero Downtime. Realbase can now safely release new features to production in a matter of minutes.
The Outcome
Application Modernisation
With the initial transition to AWS and Azure with Equinix via Express Route being focussed primarily on Kubernetes, Realbase transformed all of its workloads to leverage more cloud-native and platform-focused technologies
Monitoring and Dashboard
With the adoption of more cloud-native products and services, an opportunity presented itself to enable greater visibility into the health and effectiveness of individual workloads/applications. Application-aware monitoring enables greater clarity and a more accurate viewpoint of the overall health of the environment.
Templating, Automation
Realbase and Ikigai teams can collaborate to develop and leverage repeatable blueprints and templates, improving consistency across the Realbase IT stack while also reducing the time to market for the team.
